Cpl Healthcare is delighted to announce that we are actively recruiting Social Care Workers for a full-time permanent position in Kyle, Kilkenny.

Our client is dedicated to supporting people with physical / intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment.

Operating across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide, our client offers unique, person-centred care that transforms lives. We seek experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join a team of social and care staff supporting adults towards independent living and community integration.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or an equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
  • Have 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • Experience working with challenging behaviours.
  • Strong knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults.
  • Hold a full, clean manual driver's license and have the availability of own car.
  • Understanding of current policy and developments in social care within disability services.
  • Ability to follow, evaluate, and contribute to developing plans to meet individuals' ongoing needs.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
