Overview

SAP Security Access Lead – 6 months – Ireland / Hybrid

Work model: Onsite collaboration in Ireland 2–3 days per week for the first 2 months, with potential for a hybrid setup thereafter.

Language: English (Fluent or Advanced)

Experience: 8+ years

Role context

Brownfield upgrade from SAP ECC to S/4HANA with a multinational company in the consumer goods sector. The consultant will lead the Security workstream aligned with the transformation roadmap. The client is a multinational organisation operating across Europe, undertaking a strategic upgrade to S/4HANA as part of a wider digital transformation initiative. Collaboration with cross-territory teams and stakeholders is key.

Responsibilities
  • Lead SAP Security and Access workstream in ECC to S/4HANA upgrade.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and define security role design.
  • Configure and test security roles and authorisations.
  • Collaborate with functional leads, business stakeholders, and SMEs.
  • Support data migration, integration, and cutover planning.
  • Deliverables include security design documentation, configured roles, test scripts, execution reports, and hypercare support.
Technical & Collaboration Setup
  • Full-time engagement, Monday to Friday.
  • Active stakeholder engagement to define and document requirements.
  • Minimum 8 years' SAP Security experience.
  • Proven background in ECC to S/4HANA upgrade projects.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
