The opportunity:

KPMG has ambitious plans and is undergoing a period of growth in our Regulatory and Risk Consulting Practice. We are currently seeking to hire an Associate Director into our Regulatory practice, specifically focused on Banking Prudential Regulation. The position is permanent and based in Dublin.

We ideally need you to have the following on your CV:
  • At least 10 years of professional experience with strong technical skills in core regulatory requirements, including:
    • Understanding of regulatory rules and reporting requirements including Basel III, CRR/CRD, BRRD (Recovery and Resolution)
    • Strong experience implementing recovery and resolution regulations
    • Experience in analysis and submission of consolidated reports to regulators (CBI, ECB, JST) including Prudential (COREP, FINREP), LCR, NSFR, ALMM, STE, Pillar III, and Ana Credit returns
    • Experience in risk identification and materiality assessments
    • Understanding of regulatory reporting control frameworks and risk policies
    • Experience with systems and processes used in regulatory returns submission
    • Strong commercial acumen capable of identifying legal and commercial risks, taking ownership, and completing tasks successfully
    • Ability to identify risk improvements and contribute to policy and control implementations
