Job Overview

Are you an experienced Sales Engineer or technical sales professional seeking a new opportunity in the mid-west region? Our client, a reputable provider of specialised engineering & technical services, is expanding across Ireland & abroad. We are recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Limerick.

The Role

As part of the sales team, you will manage existing clients (primarily in pharma, food/agri-food, and environmental sectors), develop new business, prepare complex tenders & RFQ proposals, consult with technical specialists, oversee projects, source new opportunities, deliver sales reports, and stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of technical or engineering sales experience, or qualified engineers without sales experience
  • Excellent communication and client engagement skills
  • Attention to detail and IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and deliver sales projects
  • Full, clean driving license
Offer

Salary is approximately €65k + bonus and incentives. The role is based in Limerick with some travel. Candidates with restricted visas/work permits will not be considered.
