Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering company in Ireland with extensive experience in delivering complex projects across various industries including Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Public Works, Industrial, and Commercial sectors.

This position is initially based in Waterford, with potential travel to the south/southeast of Ireland depending on project requirements.

You will report directly to the Project Manager and will be responsible for site-based engineering management, including scope, programme, and resources.

You will develop junior engineers and oversee submittal, procurement processes, and LOGs.

On-site coordination with the main contractor and other trades, including attending meetings, is required.

You will attend weekly meetings with the design team and main contractor, develop positive relationships with all project stakeholders, and assist the Project Manager in reporting project status.

Daily management of subcontractors, implementation of policies related to health & safety and quality, and ownership of commissioning and control strategies are key responsibilities.

You will serve as the commissioning lead for the project and must have excellent communication skills.

Additional duties include generating and uploading weekly progress reports.

Requirements:
  • 3-4 years' experience in a similar role
  • Results-driven with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in technical submittals
  • Experience in commissioning and handover procedures
  • Strong work ethic and proven project success
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Package:

€40K - €55K based on experience and qualifications
