Cashel Palace Hotel is a historic luxury hotel located in the heart of Tipperary, renowned for exceptional dining and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Join our kitchen team and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our bustling kitchen team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in our kitchen.

  • Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to uphold high hygiene standards.
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff.
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure all dishes, cutlery, and cookware are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper organisation of storage areas.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Support the kitchen team during busy periods by performing various ad-hoc tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
    • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
    • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and cleaning techniques.
    • Understanding of food safety principles and hygiene standards.
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
    • Team-oriented mindset with a supportive attitude.
    • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
    • Food safety certification is desirable.
    • Ability to commute to Cashel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland.
