Junior Software Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and driven Junior Software Developer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to building innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, some experience (academic or practical) with front-end frameworks and .NET Core, and an interest in working with non-relational databases. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive attitude are essential.

Minimum Requirements
  • A minimum of a 2:1 honours degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths or a related discipline.
  • Some exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
  • Basic knowledge of .NET Core and its application in back-end development.
  • Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a collaborative work culture.
  • A self-motivated attitude with a strong sense of accountability for your work.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Basic Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design.
  • Experience or interest in Asset management.
