About the Role:
Flogas is seeking an experienced and motivated IT System Administrator (Level One) to join our IT team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of platforms and technologies, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment.
As an IT System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, stability, and performance. You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support, managing system configurations, responding to security concerns, and participating in IT projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about IT and looking to further their career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by end users, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Manage and configure client-based computer operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests, troubleshooting system issues and escalating where necessary.
- Monitor system performance daily, proactively identifying and resolving security or usability concerns.
- Administer servers, networks, and web systems, ensuring high uptime and optimal performance.
- Deploy patches and upgrades to operating systems and applications, ensuring systems remain up to date.
- Perform daily IT security checks, ensuring compliance with security policies and frameworks.
- Contribute to IT projects, including the rollout of new client solutions and infrastructure improvements.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT operations, enhance security, and streamline processes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance system efficiency and security.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar IT System Administrator role, with a strong technical background in Active Directory, Office 365, and IAM (Identity and Access Management). A working knowledge of common security frameworks and networking principles is essential.
We are looking for a customer-focused problem solver with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting IT issues. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality IT standards will set the successful candidate apart.
