Senior Structural Engineer Role in Dublin City Center

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team based in Dublin City Center.

About Us: Our client is an Irish award-winning civil, structural, and environmental engineering consultancy, with offices across the country.

About the Role: As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and management of building projects, utilizing your expertise in structural, drainage, and roads aspects of developments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and management of building projects, ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and expanding our services to existing clients.

Requirements:

  1. Chartered Engineer status, preferably with membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
  2. Minimum 10 years' experience in design and management of building projects, with a strong background in structural engineering.
  3. Experience in design of bridges and water-retaining structures would be advantageous.
  4. Proven track record of managing both private and public sector projects, with excellent time and budget management skills.
  5. Excellent technical ability in all aspects of engineering, including software proficiency in SCIA or similar analysis tools.
