About Us: We are an ambitious startup transforming how businesses leverage data. We're building cutting-edge AI-powered solutions to empower organizations with actionable insights. We have developed two Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and are ready to scale:

  • An AI assistant that provides accessible insights from business data.

The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding team. This is a pivotal role; you will be the first developer of the company, supported by a small team of junior developers, and have the opportunity to shape the technological direction of our company and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute significantly to the development of our MVPs, acting as the principal architect and developer.
  • Lead the evolution of our MVPs into scalable, enterprise-grade products.
  • Define and execute the company's technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team as the company grows.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of our software solutions.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our platform.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and implementing new technologies, particularly in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), data engineering, web development, and data scraping.
  • Take ownership of the entire tech stack and architecture.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in software development, including demonstrable leadership experience or potential.
  • Deep expertise in at least two of the following areas with a strong understanding and willingness to learn others: AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing. Experience with Web Development and Data Scraping is highly desirable. Experience with LLMs is a significant advantage.
  • Expertise using Python, NodeJS (and other JS front-end frameworks) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and related technologies.
  • Experience in building and scaling SaaS platforms.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring small technical teams or a strong potential to build and lead teams as the company grows.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for technology and its potential to transform businesses.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence aspects and workflows would be a huge bonus

Compensation: This is a significant opportunity to join as a CTO. In the initial phase, this will be an equity-only position. We believe in aligning the team's success with the company's growth, and this structure allows for substantial long-term rewards. This role includes a significant equity stake in the company, commensurate with a founding team member. Salary will commence upon securing funding or achieving revenue milestones.
