Senior Associate - Safety & Occupational Hygiene

Key Responsibilities of this role:

  1. Provide specialist advice to management and workforce by interpreting health and safety legislation, corporate standards, policies, and industry guidance.
  2. Assess and control health hazards, including biological, chemical, ergonomic, physical, and psychosocial hazards.
  3. Undertake Qualitative and Quantitative Exposure Assessment surveys, write reports, and communicate findings.
  4. Eliminate or significantly reduce risk by making organizational changes and designing relevant facilities.
  5. Understand and implement health and safety requirements for new products and projects through knowledge of applicable legislation and industry practices.
  6. Support a mature safety culture with integrated safety practices and open safety conversations.
  7. Deliver high-quality health and safety training, communications, and technical support.
  8. Ensure compliance and continuous improvement in health and safety standards, systems, and programs.
  9. Investigate incidents and provide legislative guidance during response.
  10. Report to environmental health & safety regulatory agencies and audit groups.
  11. Collaborate with site manufacturing and technical support to manage environmental health & safety aspects.
  12. Review process and equipment changes for potential health and safety impacts.

Interested applicants should have:

- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent experience.
