Senior Fund Accountant - Alternative Investments | High-Profile Transition Project


Are you a Senior Fund Accountant with a strong background in alternative investments and fund reporting? Do you want to be part of a high-impact project, working on both BAU accounting and a large-scale fund transition to a Third-Party Administrator?


Our client, a leading player in the asset management space, is looking for an experienced professional to step into a pivotal role within their finance team. This is an opportunity to combine your technical fund accounting expertise with project leadership, gaining exposure to a unique transformation initiative.



What you\'ll be doing
  • Taking ownership of day-to-day and period-end fund accounting across a suite of alternative investment products.
  • Reviewing NAVs, reconciliations, and financial reports with precision and accuracy.
  • Playing a key role in the migration of funds from an internal platform to TPAs, ensuring smooth transitions and robust controls.
  • Acting as the bridge between internal stakeholders and external administrators.
  • Supporting audits, regulatory submissions, and other critical financial reporting requirements.
  • Providing oversight and mentoring to colleagues where needed.


What we\'re looking for
  • 5-7 years\' experience in fund accounting or financial reporting, ideally within hedge funds, private equity, or other alternative products.
  • Strong technical knowledge of NAV production, reconciliations, and fund structures.
  • Experience of fund conversions, migrations, or working directly with Third-Party Administrators is a huge plus.
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work confidently with both senior stakeholders and external partners.
