Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior do join a 2 Partner, medium size firm in Dublin City Centre that work with a broad range of sectors and with business of all scales, both international and domestic.

May responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all audit assignments are planned adequately, and that staff are briefed.
    • Draft high-quality, financial statements and audit reports that include practical recommendations to address all risk issues and control weaknesses identified during the assignment, with a clear supporting rationale.
      • Manage the day-to-day supervision, on-the-job training and mentoring of junior staff allocated to audit assignment and fully participate in all Performance Management initiatives as required.
        • Lead multiple audit assignments simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) Qualification.
    • Demonstrable understanding of risk, Irish GAAP, FRS102 and CA2014 and awareness of topical issues.
      • Strong technical competence and detailed knowledge of FRS102, Irish and UK GAAP and CA2014.
        • Experience in Xero, Sage Micropay, Quick Books, SURF
