Location: Marymount University Hospital & Hospice, Curraheen, Cork
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift pattern: Day
Work pattern: Monday to Friday
Duration: 3 months
Service Type: Specialist Palliative Care

Responsibilities:
  • Providing exceptional care to specialist palliative care patients
  • You will deliver holistic physiotherapy services that address the complex physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients.
  • Advanced assessment and treatment of individuals with complex and/or chronic conditions
  • Working autonomously to determine clinical diagnoses and develop tailored physiotherapy interventions.
  • You will support the Physiotherapy Manager in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the physiotherapy service
  • Contributing to ongoing professional development and the promotion of excellence in care across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy
  • CORU Registration is mandatory
  • Experience in neurological physiotherapy / rehab is essential
  • Must be a resident in Ireland and have legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
