We are currently recruiting for a dynamic, innovative, and results-driven Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Ashford Castle, to provide quality service to our guests, in line with the Forbes Five Star standards and The Red Carnation Hotels standards.

• Managing beverage cost of sales in line with stock taking.
• Ensuring the beverage offering aligns with current trends and market leadership.
• Monitoring price changes and maintaining profit margins.
• Overseeing staff rostering based on business demands.
• Collaborating with Heads of Department to meet financial and staffing goals.

• Training, developing, and coaching Supervisors and Managers.
• Engaging with team members to foster leadership and teamwork.
• Conducting performance appraisals and follow-ups.

• Ensuring training is current and well-documented.
• Providing additional training as needed.
• Maintaining Forbes 5 Star Standards on an operational level.
• Ensuring equipment functionality and stock accuracy.
• Promoting equipment maintenance and stock level management across departments.

• Supporting strategic objectives with the Director of F&B and senior management.
• Facilitating clear communication across departments.
