Senior Principal Consultant - Hiring DevOps + Software Engineers for clients across the UK & Ireland

Full Stack Engineering Lead
Have Galway-based multinational clients expanding. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step towards leadership. It is a leadership role but will still require some hands-on development work mainly in Java (Spring) and Angular.

Despite being hands-on, you will be responsible for defining the technical strategy and vision of the team, as well as leading and mentoring multiple engineers across different internal teams. You\'ll work on strategic projects spanning multiple business units and act as the ultimate authority on technical decision making.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor engineers across multiple internal teams in an Agile environment.
  • Define the technical strategy and vision for the team.
  • Hands-on development focusing on Java (Spring) and Angular.
  • Work on strategic projects spanning multiple business units.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years experience in full stack software engineering
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Java (Spring) and Angular
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting high transaction applications
  • Strong track record of leading and mentoring other engineers both junior and senior
  • Experience leading teams in an Agile environment
  • Previous experience in the financial services sector would be a big plus
Location & Employment

The role is hybrid based in Galway and falls at Director level within the business. This is a full-time position.
