Overview

Evergreen Care is a healthcare organisation providing long- and short-term residential care and services. Although our primary focus is older person care, we also cater to other people who are in need of residential care. Dunboyne Nursing Home is currently seeking reliable and professional Healthcare Assistants to join our team. You will work as part of a team under the direction of the Nursing team to provide quality person-centered care to meet the needs of residents and support them to continue living independently with privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality person-centered care under the direction of the Nursing team.
  • Promote a caring environment that supports residents' physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs.
  • Support residents to maintain independence with privacy and dignity.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high standards of professional practice.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience or a relevant QQI Level 5 in Health Care Support is preferred but not essential. Further CPD is available.
  • Must be compassionate and have great interpersonal skills.
  • Training will be provided to the successful candidate.
  • Must hold a valid EU/UK or Irish driver's license.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Ireland.
