First Swim - Baby & Toddler Swim Teacher (Part-Time)

First Swim is Ireland's only purpose-built baby & toddler swim school located at the Beacon South Quarter in Sandyford. We are expanding rapidly and are seeking new swim teachers to join our team. This is a part-time position teaching pre-school children (3 months to 3 years) at our state-of-the-art facility with an on-site heated pool.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach the First Swim baby & toddler syllabus.
  2. Prioritise class tasks and manage time effectively in the pool.
  3. Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for parents and children.
  4. Prepare and plan lessons in advance.
  5. Use positive reinforcement consistently, giving full attention to both parent and child.
  6. Represent First Swim professionally and positively as an ambassador of the company.
Role Requirements
  1. Passion for teaching babies and toddlers.
  2. Strong communication skills; ability to work well with others and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  3. Minimum Level 1 rating required (assistant swim teacher).
  4. Advanced Baby & Toddler Swim Teacher training will be provided.
  5. Up-to-date First Aid qualification and Safeguarding training can be provided.
  6. Garda vetting is required.
Start Date

Immediate start.

Salary

€20 to €25 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Our centre is designed around the needs of pre-school children, focusing on the bond between parent and child and their wellness.
