Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Site Engineer to oversee all civil engineering, setting out and other engineering activities across our construction sites throughout Leinster. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our projects are executed with precision, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all engineering activities on multiple construction sites across Leinster.
  • Conduct detailed site surveys and setting out.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications to provide clear instructions and guidance to the construction team.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to communicate project status and address any concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, logs, and records.
  • Provide technical support and expertise throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with significant experience in site setting out and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Total Station, and other surveying equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Willingness to travel to various construction sites throughout Leinster.
