Environmental Programme Manager
Salary: €60,000 + Bonus | Hybrid - Nationwide Travel

An established national environmental organisation is seeking an Environmental Programme Manager to oversee and grow a large-scale recycling and recovery initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real environmental impact, leading operations that drive sustainability and the circular economy.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and oversee nationwide commercial recycling and recovery operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage relationships with collectors, processors, regulators, and industry partners.
  • Monitor budgets, track programme data, and report on performance.
  • Lead the expansion of the programme into new recycling and recovery initiatives.
  • Identify operational improvements and innovative opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in programme management, operations, logistics, or environmental services.
  • Customer facing experience in waste management, recycling or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Full driving licence and flexibility for nationwide travel.
