Overview

Join the Social Care Workers - Children\'s Services role at Embrace Community Services in Brownstown, Navan, Co. Meath. We are seeking applications from Social Care Workers who have a passion for supporting people in the community and helping them to develop within their homes. The successful candidate will join a strong team and be overseen by a supportive management team. Our ambition is to offer a strengths-based service that focuses on residents\' core interests and encourages development of new skills, within homes that provide comfort, on-site amenities, and opportunities for local engagement with community initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team to support residents to live fulfilled and wholesome lives, enabling them to learn new skills and live independently as much as possible in their home.
  • Provide residents with guidance, support, training, and activities to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the wider support team to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Holding or pursuing a Level 7 qualification in Social Care / Applied Social Studies (must be registered or eligible for registration with CORU) OR
  • Holding a Nursing Degree (registered in the relevant Division of the Live Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI))
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the legislation, regulations, and standards applicable to the provision of accommodation-based services to vulnerable people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full driving licence
