Overview

Bringing the spirit and taste of Italy to Center Parcs, we will be serving Italian favourites such as calzone, pizza and pasta. You will prepare, cook and present menu items to agreed standards and assist the Kitchen Managers with the supervision and coaching of Kitchen Assistants, deputising for Kitchen Managers in their absence to maintain the smooth running of the kitchen.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure guests' requirements are met and look for opportunities to exceed expectations
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and ensure company and legal requirements are met
  • Follow guidelines on stock control, portion control and food wastage to maintain food cost of sales
  • Support the Kitchen Managers with implementation and production of menus, procedures and standards
  • Attend all company training for legal purposes, personal development and new menus/dishes
  • Comply with Food Safety Manual guidelines and practices
  • Be naturally helpful, enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills

Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longford Forest, as it is not easily accessible by public transport.

Hours of Work

Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours may vary, but you will always receive your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas/New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on Sundays.
