Main Purpose Of Role
The role involves being a key support to our pipe fabrication business and involves:
- Production of 3D pipework drawings to the highest standard to enable an efficient production cycle.
- Utilise Autodesk AutoCAD Plant 3D software to produce detailed engineering designs and drawings.
- Work closely with the wider team members to ensure accurate and precise technical drawings.
- Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and recommendations for optimisation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of drawings into the production cycle.
- Adhere to project timelines and effectively manage workload to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on drawings and models to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in related software technologies.
- Maintaining a culture of continuous improvements.
- To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, additional tasks and responsibilities will form part of this role as it evolves.
- Ideally the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a mechanical environment with knowledge of Autodesk Plant 3D, less experience will be considered for exceptional candidates.
- Knowledge /experience of construction techniques and building regulations.
- Must be proficient in Autodesk Software.
- Experience in other forms of software is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently.
- Excellent clear and concise communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
- Fluent English is essential.
- A strong ability to problem solve with the support of the team.
