The Client and Overview of the Opportunity:

My Client is an established-but-growing Residential Development Group with numerous projects across Ireland. They have a decent landbank in Dublin and across Leinster, currently managing 4 projects in the area.

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a couple of projects (or one of the larger ones when they get started) and will manage other Project Managers/Senior Site Managers.

Generally, their projects are all under €20M, but they have plans this year to take on a couple of projects in excess of €50M.

It's a good time to join them if you're an ambitious person. Their Construction Director is approachable and driven, and they want to bring someone who can add value to the business.

The ideal candidate will be looking for their next long-term role and will have previous experience in managing multiple Residential Developments, but they will certainly consider experienced PMs that want to step up.

Main Responsibilities:

Working closely with the company Construction Director and other Senior Managers within the business, the Senior Project Manager will oversee the delivery of residential developments in Dublin.

• Lead and manage a team to deliver residential projects across Dublin.

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring quality control, cost management, and adherence to project timelines.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, consultants, and local authorities.

• Ensure all projects meet or exceed EHS and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor progress and performance, providing regular updates and reports to the Construction Director.

• Develop and implement strategies for risk management and project delivery.

• Mentor and support the development of the Project Management team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Skills & Experience Required:


• Degree Level 8 qualification in a Construction-related subject.

• A minimum of 6+ years' experience in Project Management/Contracts Management, specifically in Residential Developments.

• Proven experience managing projects valued between €10M and €30M.

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.

• Expertise in project planning, cost management, and risk assessment.

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety requirements.
