We're on the lookout for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help keep our chocolate production running smoothly. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a strong engineering background, this could be the perfect role for you

Position type: Full time, permanent

Pay: €51,376 - €60,008 (€24.70 - €28.85) + shift allowance.

Hours: 40 per week

Shift Pattern: 3 week cycle rotating between the below weeks

  1. Monday - Thursday 0600 - 1630
  2. Tuesday - Friday 0600-1630
  3. Monday - Thursday 1630-0300

Responsibilities:

  • Swiftly troubleshoot and repair equipment and electrical systems.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical control systems.
  • Use data to drive improvement initiatives and enhance efficiency.
  • Minimise downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with teams across the factory to plan maintenance and improve processes.
  • Operation of Engineering Stores to ensure spares requirements are met.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Recognised QQI L6 engineering qualification.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Experience with food manufacturing machinery such as conveyors, depositors, and wrapping machines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
