Mixed Veterinary Surgeon – Fermoy, Co. Cork (Full Time)
Join a friendly 5-vet mixed practice in the heart of North Cork We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to become part of our supportive team in a newly renovated clinic. The role is 50% LA / 50% SA, but we can tailor the mix to suit your interests. The clinic has recently undergone a full renovation, offering a bright, modern, and well-equipped working environment. You'll be joining a progressive, forward-thinking team with a new, enthusiastic owner, a strong ethos of mentorship, and genuine support for professional development – making this an ideal role for both experienced vets and new graduates.
What's on offer- Competitive salary range: €40,000 for new graduates, rising to €70,000 depending on experience
- 4 weeks holiday + VCI & VDS covered
- Well-equipped clinic: digital X-ray, ultrasound, Idexx lab suite, dental machine, anaesthetic monitoring, new surgery suite
- Genuine support for new grads: OOH backup, structured mentorship & great team culture
- Long-term prospects for the right candidate
- 9am–6pm
- 1 in 8 OOH rota (shared with nearby practices)
- Half day off after weekend work
