Sanderson are partnering with a leading global organisation in the energy sector to recruit a Management Accountant, based in Cavan.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct cost and material analysis, focusing on cost drivers, allocation methods, and control techniques to improve financial effectiveness.
  2. Monitor and manage costs, ensuring accurate and detailed reporting.
  3. Accurately record financial transactions to provide insight into business performance, financial position, and cash flows.
  4. Engage in business transformation and control projects to enhance profitability and drive informed decision-making.
  5. Prepare management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators.
  6. Perform monthly reconciliations, matching internal transactions with external documents to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  7. Participate in third-party audits, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
  8. Contribute to company performance forecasting, incorporating both quantitative data and qualitative insights.
  9. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of business strategies and financial decisions.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified CIMA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (experience in manufacturing is a plus).
  3. Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
  4. Strong proficiency in Excel.
  5. Curiosity and interest in the industry, with a commitment to enhancing financial acumen within the organisation.
