Job Opportunity: Person In ChargeCpl Healthcare is currently accepting applications for a Person In Charge position with our established client, who provides exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities in North Cork and Co Limerick. Our client's main focus is to enable children and adults with disabilities to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential. This exceptional care is delivered in day services, residential services, respite care, and home support.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hours, based in Ballyagran, Limerick.
Candidate Requirements:- A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification, or eligible for CORU registration, or CORU Registered.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
- Proven managerial skills with at least three years' experience at a management level and an appropriate management qualification of at least QQI level 6.
- The ability to work independently and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting.
- Experience managing residential budgets.
- Experience managing challenging behaviors.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Full manual driving license.
- Ensure the needs of service users are met.
- Teach daily living and social skills to service users through daily activities.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users.
- Engage in activities and household tasks.
- Keep accurate records of service users' documentation.
- Perform other duties as required.
