We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef position based in Dublin City Centre.

Location: Dublin City Centre

Rate of pay:€45,000 - €55,000 per annum

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Key responsibilities

  • Develop seasonal, locally sourced menus aligned with client expectations.
  • Oversee high-standard food preparation and timely service delivery.
  • Ensure ingredient availability and address shortages proactively.
  • Support Exec Chef and contribute to new food concepts and service styles.
  • Manage supplier quality issues and coordinate stock ordering and stocktaking.
  • Minimize food waste and control costs through efficient purchasing.
  • Monitor and achieve budgetary targets using menu costing and financial metrics.
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Conduct daily briefings, provide coaching, and deliver on-job training.
  • Handle performance appraisals, manage poor performance, and induct new staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards (COSHH, HACCP).
  • Maintain accurate temperature logs, food labeling, and equipment checks.
  • Engage with customers professionally, seeking feedback to improve service.
  • Collaborate with site colleagues to deliver excellent customer experiences.
