Job Title: Social Care Worker, Lotus Care Children's Respite and Residential Service's

Status: Permanent, Full Time Contract

Location: Tullamore ,Co. Offaly

Reporting to: Person in Charge

The Company

Lotus Care Services are a young company providing respite and residential care settings for people with disabilities. Our aim is to support and provide the best quality care for our service users and in that scope we will provide the best working environments for our staff to learn, develop and expand their careers.

We are recruiting social care workers in the Tullamore area. The main goal is to ensure service users are supported and empowered so that they can live their life to the fullest.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the Intellectual Disability and Autism sector to join the fantastic team at Lotus Care Services. Your role will be to ensure all service users receive the highest quality of care.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Support the Person In Charge to ensure high quality care in accordance with HIQA standards as required to support strong governance of Designated Centre(s)
  • Ensure that service users receive the highest quality standards of education, training, development and care in accordance with the organisations policies
  • Perform any task required that contributes to the safety, health and well-being of the service users

Required
  • Have a Level 7 Degree in Social Care (or equivalent).
  • A full Irish Driver's License.
  • Prior experience in a social care setting, ideally working with intellectual disabilities.
  • Must have knowledge of all relevant legislation and HIQA standards and a proven ability to implement same.
  • Be in the process of applying for CORU Registration
  • IT skills and report writing skills.
  • High level of flexibility

Salary and qualifications are in accordance with education and experience.

Base Salary Range excluding premiums: €32,489.60 - €40,788.80

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate: Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Work authorisation: Ireland

Work Location: In person
