Overview

Position: Assistant Director of Services
Service: Disability Respite Services – Adults & Children
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Location: Stamullen, Co. Meath

We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director of Services to join our leadership team and play a key role in the delivery and continuous improvement of our residential services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and inspire teams to deliver safe, person-centred services.
  • Ensure full compliance with HIQA regulations and follow through on inspection outcomes.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement through audits and Quality Improvement Plans.
  • Oversee referrals, admissions, and transition processes.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and independence for all residents.
  • Take responsibility for governance, leadership, risk management, health & safety, training, and service development.
Requirements
  • A Level 7+ Degree in Social Care, Nursing, or Social Care Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years' management experience at PIC level (or above) within Disability Services or another relevant human service.
  • Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations, safeguarding legislation, and person-centred planning.
  • A full driver's licence and access to own transport.
