We are seeking an L&D Specialist to join our team. The role involves working with the Musgrave L&D team, retail store colleagues, and regional teams to design, implement, and review people development plans from an L&D perspective. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Regional Managers & Retail Partners to deliver tailored training and advice, influencing store owners where appropriate.
- Coordinating and delivering on-site customer service training.
- Advising owners and managers on tools and techniques to exceed customer expectations and develop their teams.
- Supporting retailers in leading positive cultural change.
- Delivering leadership and management training, including feedback, coaching, and communication skills.
- Assisting store owners and managers in conducting training needs analysis and developing learning plans via the Musgrave Institute.
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to improve L&D initiatives and behavioral change.
- Providing advice on learning, career development, and employee engagement.
- Assessing service levels and regional performance reporting through audits and internal assessments.
- Supporting the rollout of our digital learning platform.
- Contributing to HR projects and supporting other Musgrave brands as needed.
Experience, Skills & Education
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills to motivate diverse audiences.
- Interest in retail sector with a passion for customer experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, experienced in large group presentations.
- Minimum 2 years in a training-related role; L&D experience is advantageous.
- Organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
- Relationship building and influencing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Full driving license is essential.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Certification in Training or Coaching, or IITD qualification.
- Experience in E-Learning Design and platform implementation.
