McKesson is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst, Threat & Vulnerability Management, to support our cybersecurity capabilities and compliance across business units and IT organizations. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will have a background in Threat & Vulnerability Management and represent the team on various projects and boards.

Responsibilities:

  • Vulnerability Monitoring: Continuously monitor sources like CVE databases and security bulletins for new vulnerabilities, assess their impact, and collaborate with teams to prioritize remediation based on risk.
  • Advisory Role: Provide actionable recommendations for vulnerability remediation and advise on risk reduction measures.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze vulnerability data to identify patterns and emerging threats, staying informed on industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on vulnerability status, progress, and mitigation efforts, fostering collaboration with IT and security teams.

Key Results:

  • High patch compliance rate across systems.
  • Continuous reduction of critical and high-risk vulnerabilities.
  • Minimized response time to vulnerabilities.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction with vulnerability management.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in systems/security, including vulnerability management, network security, cloud security, and data protection.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, CMMC, etc.) and network protocols.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, CEH, CISA, CRISC, or GIAC.

Additional Skills (Optional):

  • Knowledge of healthcare, privacy, and financial compliance regulations.
  • Experience with cloud deployment security and vulnerability management tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
