Job Title: Sales Assistant

Location: Homeland Castlebar

Opportunity: Full-time permanent

Aurivo Co-op is a large multi-purpose Co-operative engaged in activities including dairy processing, liquid milk distribution, animal feed milling, retail stores, e-commerce, garden centres, livestock marketing, and sports nutrition. Employing over 650 people, Aurivo values define how we operate, supporting employment in various sectors including transport & distribution.

Reporting to the Homeland Branch Manager, the successful candidate will work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service. There are growth opportunities for candidates who demonstrate initiative and a willingness to go the extra mile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling customer queries, ensuring retention and satisfaction
  • Managing transactions, including cash handling
  • Inventory management and stock control
  • Merchandising to maintain store standards
  • Developing knowledge of the Core system
  • Performing ad hoc tasks and projects as required
The ideal candidate will have
  • Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in Agriculture
  • Ability to engage with and prioritize customer needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and drive
  • Knowledge of the agricultural sector is desirable
