The Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to join our expanding tax team during a significant growth phase. Due to ongoing expansion, RSM Ireland seeks a Senior Manager for our Corporate Tax team. The role provides an environment to develop your skills within a creative, entrepreneurial, and supportive team, working with diverse clients.

The successful candidate will manage a varied client portfolio, including complex tax matters, ensuring excellent client service and identifying new opportunities. Responsibilities include handling complex compliance work, mentoring junior staff, reviewing their work, and supporting business development initiatives such as proposals and networking events.

The role offers a hybrid working model, professional growth, and the chance to work on diverse projects, especially with international companies across sectors like technology, media, pharmaceuticals, retail, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client management, delivering solutions, and team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining client relationships, focusing on internationally active clients.
  • Collaborating on advisory projects like M&A, due diligence, IP planning, and reorganizations.
  • Coordinating cross-border projects with other RSM offices and supporting business development.
  • Managing corporate tax compliance for a client portfolio, ensuring high-quality service.
  • Contributing to departmental operational management and business initiatives.
  • Mentoring junior staff and supporting talent development.
About the Ideal Candidate

The candidate should have:

  • ITI and ACA/ACCA qualifications.
  • 2-3 years' management experience in tax practice or industry.
  • Experience managing corporate client portfolios with strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong technical skills in corporate tax advisory.
  • Experience with FDI cases (desirable).
  • Leadership experience and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
