Purpose of the Post
The Business Manager will:
- Ensure that the Regional Clinical Director (RCD) has the necessary support available to enable them to fully discharge the functions of the role.
- Support the RCD in the delegation of work to their direct reports (or to other senior managers) and in the oversight of work that has been delegated.
- Support the Chief Clinical Director (CCD) office.
- Manage the operation of the RCD's and CCD's office, ensuring effective organisation of their and the RCDs and CCD's time and management of relevant commitments.
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of documentation in respect of meetings arranged for and those attended by the RCD.
- Ensure that the RCD is furnished with all required papers (including concise summaries of key information and up-to-date data) and that they are fully and accurately briefed well in advance of any required attendances.
