RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Lead Veterinarian to join our practice and play a pivotal role in driving clinical excellence and innovation. This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction of our practice, mentor a dedicated team, and deliver outstanding veterinary care. Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional clinical services to our patients and build strong client relationships
- Provide clinical leadership across the practice, setting and maintaining high standards of care
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic clinical initiatives
- Mentor and support veterinary colleagues, promoting professional growth and team cohesion
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practice
We are a well-established Small Animal Practice located in the picturesque town of Killarney, Co Kerry. Founded in 1983, we have a proud history of providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to the local community's pets for nearly four decades. Our practice is equipped with modern facilities, including services for laparoscopic procedures, orthopaedic surgery, in-house x-ray and blood analyzers, and a dental machine, allowing us to offer a broad range of advanced treatments. Our team is small and close-knit, comprising 1 veterinarian, 3 veterinary nurses, and a practice manager. We pride ourselves on fostering strong, long-term relationships with our clients and their pets within this close community.
Applicant Requirements- Be VCI registered and eligible to work in Ireland from September 2025
- Be confident in all clinical aspects of first opinion practice - medically and surgically
- Thrive in a team-oriented, communicative environment

Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Relocation Allowance: Up to €5,000 to support your move (T&Cs apply)
