You'll take ownership of planning and delivering audits, managing staff on-site, and building strong client relationships. The firm offers a supportive culture, with structured development and clear career progression to Manager and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of audit assignments across a variety of sectors and client sizes
  • Oversee planning procedures and ensure staff are well-briefed on key risks prior to fieldwork
  • Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, making efficient use of time and resources
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel at all levels
  • Provide regular updates to Partners, flagging significant issues and concerns as they arise
  • Produce high-quality financial statements and audit reports, offering practical recommendations supported by clear rationale
  • Ensure audits are delivered to a high standard in line with FRS 102 and Irish GAAP, managing critical risks and meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
  • Maintain a clear understanding of your authority levels and those of relevant stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with the firm's policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support managers with the day-to-day supervision and development of junior staff, including mentoring, coaching, and contributing to performance management processes
What We're Looking For:
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience within a professional services firm
  • Strong technical understanding of Irish GAAP, FRS 102, and risk-based auditing approaches
  • Ability to develop audit strategies and manage end-to-end audit cycles
  • Experience working with clients across a range of industries
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Confident team leader with a proactive, hands-on approach
