Overview

The Job:

We're partnering with our client, an innovative medical device company, to recruit a Demand Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of demand planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and outbound logistics and playing a key role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations from manufacturing through to US distribution.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with commercial teams to build accurate demand forecasts.
  • Manage the monthly S&OP process with a contract manufacturer to align supply with demand.
  • Oversee daily production performance, escalating risks of supply disruption.
  • Coordinate finished goods logistics to the US, optimizing sea vs. air freight.
  • Work closely with warehouses, 3PLs, and logistics providers to ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
  • Maintain inventory levels that support revenue targets while reducing excess freight costs and raw material obsolescence.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and Good Distribution Practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Planning, Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in production, supply or demand planning.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (FDA/medical devices preferred).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Excel/data analysis ability.
