The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, new project wins, and contract extensions, Shareridge is seeking a reliable Junior Planner to join our expanding team. Based at our Head Office in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, you will be an integral part of our Preconstruction Team, supporting civil engineering projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update project programmes using MS Project
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor and revise work schedules
  • Produce accurate progress reports and forecasts for stakeholders
  • Ensure delivery of programme outputs within set timelines
  • Assist in the planning of contingency strategies when necessary
  • Provide detailed support to the Preconstruction Manager as required

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • 1–2 years' experience in a civils contracting environment (preferred)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • Proficiency in MS Project and other relevant planning software
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset
