Technical Project Manager

Initial 6 months daily rate contract

Dublin City center – min 2 days per week onsite.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in both traditional project management and agile methodologies to coordinate the early efforts of Design, Data and Integration teams forming to deliver a Dynamics 365 solution. The ideal candidate will be adept at establishing effective ways of working, managing key milestones, and facilitating collaboration among diverse teams. This role may evolve into an Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master position as the project progresses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the initial efforts of multiple teams working on the Dynamics 365 solution.
  • Establish and implement effective project management practices, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or risks.
  • Support the transition to agile methodologies
  • Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a strong background in both traditional and agile project management.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and / or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
