Responsibilities

  • Manage daily delivery of all Transfer Agency (TA) services to clients, coordinate functional teams, and ensure targets and deadlines are met.
  • Act as the primary contact for external and internal partners, maintaining high service levels.
  • Develop and implement new TA products and service level agreements (SLDs) with clients.
  • Oversee monthly reporting, KPI calculation, and review of reporting packs.
  • Vet incident reports before release, maintain incident logs, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Work with internal departments to adapt to regulatory changes and improve procedures.
  • Manage client issues, liaise with global teams, and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Handle client documentation, presentations, and service level discussions.
  • Proactively communicate with clients, suggest operational improvements, and manage projects for key clients.
  • Lead and develop staff, including recruitment, appraisals, and retention at the Client Service Officer level.

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant discipline; experience in client-focused roles within financial services or banking.
  • Operational experience in Transfer Agency preferred; related experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or banking also considered.
  • Experience in people management and change management desirable.
  • Strong client relationship skills, industry knowledge, and regulatory understanding.
  • Effective verbal reasoning, numeric skills, and system proficiency.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan, organize, and resolve complex issues.
  • Self-initiative and stakeholder relationship-building skills, both internal and external.
