We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst & Researcher to join our team and support business development through data management and market intelligence.

Role Overview

The Data Analyst & Researcher will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date Salesforce CRM records, identifying and researching prospective projects, and providing actionable insights to support the sales and business development teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to market research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update Salesforce CRM data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Research and identify prospective projects in target markets, including monitoring tender portals and industry publications.
  • Analyse project data to assess potential opportunities and prioritise leads.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI for senior management.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to share market intelligence.
  • Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience using Salesforce CRM, including data entry and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of the Mechanical, Electrical & Fire Protection Engineering sector preferred.
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to source and interpret complex project information.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
