Pharmacy Counter Assistant at PharmacyStore is a key member of the team, providing excellent customer care and support to our customers. The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Deal with customer queries and requests related to the sale of over-the-counter medicines, front of shop items, and prescriptions in a polite and courteous manner.
• Assist the Duty Manager(s) in providing a confidential, friendly, efficient, and professional healthcare service to the local community.
• Assist with over-the-counter sales and other front-of-counter duties.
• Help customers with non-medical products sold within the store, e.g., cosmetics, health products, etc.
• Accurately handle monetary transactions.
• Understand the impact of good customer service on the overall business.

• Understand and adhere to required operating procedures within the pharmacy.
• Maintain the standards and cleanliness within the store as directed by the Duty Manager(s).
• Order, receive, and manage stock; check deliveries against invoices; report discrepancies; ensure invoices are signed and accounted for.
• Check and update price changes daily.
• Complete daily sheets and sign off once completed.

• Build strong working relationships with all team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate actively in training and development programmes.
• Support personal development by building capability in required areas.
• Communicate effectively at all levels, understanding key stakeholders.
• Take ownership of specific initiatives as assigned.
• Support the team and provide coverage across different PharmacyStore locations as needed.

• Understand link selling and actively contribute to increasing OTC sales.
• Understand the pharmacy business and the role of the Pharmacy Counter Assistant within the PharmacyStore Group.
• Align with the store and group strategies to support business growth.
• Understand the financial impact of decisions and strive to improve operational efficiency across all areas.
