What you'll be doing...
We're excited to announce an incredible opportunity for an experienced and passionate professional to join Verizon as a Senior Procurement Analyst. As a Senior Procurement Analyst with Verizon Services Ireland's Centre of Excellence you'll be working with some of the best professionals in the supply chain field.
Right from the start you'll contribute to meaningful projects in the department and will be exposed to a variety of work assignments from different practice areas. Additionally, you will be able to participate in many different kinds of learning experiences.

What we're looking for...

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of operational procurement methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

You are self-driven, great at networking and an absolute team player. You are adaptable and thrive in a changing and dynamic environment and can work with diverse individuals collaboratively. You will also be an excellent relationship builder with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Managing PR creation across multiple ERP's for catalog and non catalog orders.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and with external suppliers.
  3. Ensuring all stakeholders and systems are updated in a timely manner and in line with SLA's.
  4. Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  5. Tracking and reporting on key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities.
  6. Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement.
  7. Analyzing spend data to identify trends, opportunities for savings, and potential areas for improvement.

You'll need to have:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data.
  3. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  5. Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills: Effectively communicates with stakeholders at all levels and builds strong relationships.

  4. Team player: Works collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
  5. Adaptable and flexible: Adjusts to changing priorities and demands.
  6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  7. Experience with procurement software and data analytics tools.
  8. Experience with Service Now or ticketing tools.

Where you'll be working:
In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
