Overview:

If you are an experienced Account Executive looking to take a step up in your career we have an exciting opportunity for you.

Our client a well established Irish Food manufacturer based in Cork City are looking for a Junior Account Manager to join their team.

In this position you will be a key support to the other Account Manager's as well as taking full responsibility for the export account's side of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day management of existing client accounts, both nationally and internationally.
  • Process customer orders and coordinate transport and logistics for timely delivery.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support, including generating sales reports, updating databases, setting up product codes, and preparing materials for client presentations.
  • Conduct GAP analyses through in-store visits and retail assessments.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to fulfill sample requests and coordinate with production.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly team meetings.
  • Organize and coordinate domestic and international trade shows, including logistics and on-site support.
  • Work closely with the New Product Development (NPD) team during the creation and roll out of new products.
  • Interpret client briefs and collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to define action plans and deliverables.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of food industry operations and customer expectations.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in logistics and supply chain coordination is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly analytical with strong data management and reporting skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
