Electrical Design Engineer

As we continue to expand, we're looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing Engineering Department and play a central role in delivering innovative, sustainable projects across Ireland and Europe.

The Engineering Team sits at the heart of everything we do. From concept to commissioning, our engineers are empowered to lead, influence, and innovate — backed by the latest tools and technology. This role offers the chance to work on complex, large-scale builds while contributing to our Net Zero 2035 commitment.

You'll work alongside a team that's collaborative, passionate, and ambitious — including leaders who've grown from graduate roles into key decision-makers.

What you'll do

  • Lead and deliver full electrical design packages across varied sectors
  • Carry out FEED studies and develop base design drawings and documentation
  • Model LV distribution systems (Amtech/Trimble or E-Tap)
  • Perform lighting/emergency lighting calcs (Dialux/Relux)
  • Review technical submittals, RFIs and construction drawings
  • Attend client and design team meetings
  • Support LEED, BREEAM and BCAR compliance
  • Work closely with our sustainability team to deliver green engineering solutions
  • Provide technical input into tenders and estimation processes

What you'll need

  • Degree (Level 7+) in Electrical, Electrical Services or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in a similar electrical design role would be beneficial but not essential
  • Solid grasp of Irish building standards, including fire alarm & emergency lighting
  • Proficiency in industry tools: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Dialux/Relux, Amtech
  • Strong communication skills and a solution-driven mindset
