We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our Dublin-based team and lead risk management services across high-profile infrastructure and public sector programmes. This role will involve working with clients, contractors, and internal teams to proactively identify, assess, and manage project and programme-level risks across the full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies on large-scale infrastructure programmes.
Facilitate risk identification and assessment workshops with project stakeholders, contractors, and government bodies.
Develop and maintain detailed risk registers, ensuring alignment with client risk frameworks and governance processes.
Conduct quantitative risk analysis (QRA), including Monte Carlo simulations using software such as @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, or Safran.
Prepare and present clear, actionable risk reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders and steering committees.
Integrate risk management with planning, cost, and commercial teams to drive risk-informed decision-making.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior risk professionals within the team.
Support business development activities, including input into bids and proposals related to risk services.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in risk management on infrastructure or capital projects, ideally in transport, utilities, or public sector environments.
Strong understanding of project controls, particularly around planning, cost, and schedule integration.
Experience with quantitative risk analysis tools such as @Risk, Safran Risk, or Primavera Risk Analysis.
Proven ability to communicate complex risk data to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with relevant frameworks such as ISO 31000, HM Treasury Orange Book, or AACE guidelines.
Ability to work in a client-facing environment, often embedded within major programme teams.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Risk Management, or a related field.
Professional certification preferred (e.g., PMI-RMP, IRM, AACE-RP, or similar).
Knowledge of public sector capital programme governance in Ireland is an advantage.
