The Full Stack Engineer will have a passion for clean code, a hunger to take on challenging and exciting projects as well as an unrelenting drive to learn and deliver. Working Schedule:

This is a full-time position with standard working hours of Monday – Friday, standard business hours.

Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny office and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.

Primary Responsibilities of the Full Stack Engineer:

  1. Design and implementation of new features on the products built by the OPEN team.
  2. Deliver and integrate features with the backend dependencies.
  3. Work alongside the Product team to design new features for the product.
  4. Collaborate with the operations team to deploy new features to production.
  5. Operate as a key member of an Agile Full Stack engineering team.

Required Qualifications of the Full Stack Engineer:

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Practical experience of developing solutions hosted within one of the major cloud providers (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
  2. Good understanding of Microservices architecture.
  3. Experience with various software design patterns.
  4. Experience in the healthcare industry.
  5. Excellent time management, communication, decision making, and presentation skills.
  6. Display a strong desire to achieve and attain high levels of both internal and external customer satisfaction.
  7. Practical experience of deploying infrastructure and applications using Terraform & GitHub Actions.
