Join to apply for the Assistant Manager role at Avoca Ireland.

We are currently hiring an Assistant Manager in our Kildare Village store. You will be actively involved in assisting the store manager in motivating and developing a team of highly trained sales people to drive sales forward and achieve store targets. You will play a key role in applying clear practices and procedures across the store, including team management and training, logistics, administration, stock management, shrinkage, customer service and cash management. In the absence of the Store Manager you will effectively manage all store operations, ensuring consistency and compliance with all company policies and procedures. You will consistently create a welcoming environment for customers by greeting and assisting, and by quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering 5 Star excellence in the Customer Experience
  • Lead, motivate and empower the team to help drive sales and KPIs in all departments
  • Assist the store manager in driving operational standards across departments, developing opportunities and brand promotion
  • Staff training and development in all aspects of the customer experience, including key selling skills and product knowledge
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to drive sales through the team
  • Strong floor presence and leading by example
  • Excellent business know-how and commercial awareness
  • Influential and persuasive in working with others
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
